In an increasingly earth-conscious society, what’s a modern bride to do when deciding to include green ideas into her wedding? And on the cheap no less?! Well, the good reports is that it’s easier than you think to make your rite a touch more green whilst still maintaining a fair budget! Essentially, eco friendly marriages have gained so much support that there aren’t many weddings that are planned that do not have some element of environmental consciousness. Here are some tips:

Start at the start : make a choice to invest in recycled gold wedding bands and if possible conflict-free diamonds. For a pop-culture reference, check out “Blood Diamonds” which chronicalizes the strife in Africa over mined diamonds and the slow-decay it’s causing in the state’s resources.

Paper basics : decide to use recycled paper to print your invites and wedding programs on.

Eco-dresses : your wedding dress can make less of a negative result on the environment when it’s made form all natural materials like cotton and silk.

Natural food goodness: Use organic foods and free-range stock for your guests entrees;)

Give back: give guests an option to donate to the charity of your choice instead of buying charity of your choosing instead of purchasing a table at your reception which features a charity of your choice with supporting information and ask the guests to donate $1 if so compelled.

Believe it or not: There are eco-friendly resorts in numerous places that could be possible honeymoon spots for you and your honey! The web is your resource! Do some research and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
