Making Wedding Invitations as Personal as It Can Be

Perhaps the first thing to remember in a green wedding is to come up with green wedding invitations. The best and most ecumenical way to have a wedding invitation is to send it through email. The main concern about this manner of sending the invitation is that it is very impersonal and come to think of it: How many of them would be checking their inbox each day?

In cases when the bride and groom would like to make it more personal the next step would be to use recycled paper and to give the invitation personally to your friends and families; that is to limit the carbon emissions that would result when you send them through air mails.

The minimalist concept when coming up with your green wedding invite is a good way to ensure that your there are less paper, less fuel, and less harm done to the environment with the various elements you used in coming up with a simple wedding invitation.

It also helps spread environmental awareness when green themes are used in the invitation. You can even include a short quote about protecting the environment and come up with green leaves and tree designs on the invites. The goal here is to use the wedding invites as a short ad to promote environmental protection and preservation.

You can also handwrite your invites for a more personal appeal. You can do this for the invitations sent to the more special ones as the godparents and the secondary sponsors and some close friends and relatives.  This will make it a totally new style of wedding invitation as well.
